Five Things I Like About Daily Devotionals

Well, I have just finished the outline for the first month- Jan. 2013, "The God Kind of Life."  I'm hoping in the next coming days to start writing the devo's.  My goal is to stay a month ahead of the writing, but who knows- I'll do my best!  Either way, I'm full of joy and great excitement as I think about all the little lessons I can share day-to-day with God's people.  My prayer is that they will last longer than just this year.  Hopefully, people will use them until Jesus comes back both as a daily devo and a 30 day series.

Also, I hope to be able to stay under a page in my word program for each one.  Which is hard for a long winded preaching machine like myself to do.  Its funny how writing "headlines" are harder than writing the blogs.  Though I'm not much of a "twitter guy," maybe this will help me become one- short and to the point!  Here's a try to keep things short in my list of five favs for devos!

Five Things I like About Daily Devotionals

1-There are consistant, they can create good habits.

2-They are short and to the point, everyone has time to do them.

3-Easy to share with people online, they're a great way to encourage others.

4-A powerful reminder to pray and read the Bible everyday.

5-Fun for the whole family because they're super easy to do with others!

Are you excited too?
Please help spread the word by passing it on!
